Natural Soap Thalia Marrakech

The olive oil soap with bay leaf oil is 100% NATURAL.

The Thalia natural soap from Marrakech is a natural cosmetic product made from cold-pressed, pure olive oil, bay leaf oil, and red clay. Inspired by the knowledge of Syrian ancestors, Thalia employs the method of cold saponification to preserve the nourishing properties of the plant oils. The natural soap is very mild and suitable for all ages and skin types, even for sensitive and dry skin. It can be used daily for cleansing and caring for the face and body.

Thalia natural soap is a handcrafted product made in Marrakech, with 100% natural ingredients and without colorants and preservatives. Each product is handmade, so shapes, colors, and weights may vary slightly.

The valuable oil from cold-pressed olives contains important simple and essential fatty acids and vitamin E, provides moisture, and supports the healthy function of the skin. The soap cleanses gently, moisturizes, and supports the healthy function of the skin. Olive oil soaps do not lather but become creamy with water. This makes them particularly nourishing.

Bay leaf oil, derived from the berries and leaves of the true bay tree, has a re-fatting effect and can positively influence the natural acid mantle of the skin, e.g., in cases of skin irritations and dry skin.

The red clay is rich in important trace elements and minerals. It soothes the skin and gives the soap its typical Marrakech ochre red color.

The original soap of the same name comes from Aleppo in Syria, which has been made for centuries from olive oil and a portion of bay leaf oil.

In the cold saponification process, the chemical reaction is achieved by mixing fat and lye. The mixture is only heated to 30 - 50 degrees. Once the lye is saponified, the soaps are dried for at least four weeks. The benefits:

    • Glycerin is retained. It nourishes and protects the skin.
    • The non-saponifiable part of the valuable oils is preserved - important for the nourishing effect.
    • More fat is added to the formulation than is necessary for saponification. The superfatting leads to less lather formation but increases the nourishing performance.
